Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Valiollah Afkhamirad said that 350 member delegation from 80 Russian companies will attend Russian National Industry Exhibition, which is to open in Tehran on Monday .
He said that Russian Federation Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov accompaned by 80 representatives from Russian companies has travelled to Tehran. adding that holding such exhibitions will help strengthen bilateral relations.
Referring to Iran-Russia politico-economic relations and termination of anti-Iran economic sanctions, Afkhamirad called on Iranian businessmen to consolidate their position in Russian market during post-sanctions era.
He added that the Russian exhibition in Tehran would provide an opportunity to introduce trade and investment potentials of Russia and pave the way for expansion of trade cooperation between the two countries.
Head of Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) said that holding specialized gatherings with an aim of familiarizing with Russian market, introducing trade opportunities and setting up working groups by Iranian and Russian companies are among other goals of the exhibition. He also expressed hope that the two sides would witness prompt execution of agreements reached between the two countries.
