Cards for Legal Entities
Cards are considered as an important and convenient means of doing transactions both physically or online.
You may enjoy card services by possessing your cards without any time limit.
Middle East Bank Cards services:
- Account inquiry
- Recent statement
- Cash withdrawal
- Money transfer
- Bill payments through electronic banking channels
- Purchase transaction [through Physical and Online channels]
- PIN-1 or PIN-2 modification
- specify a mobile phone number to receive the one‑time password (OTP) via ATM
Available Cards in Middle East Bank are as follows

Debit card
Middle East Bank Savings and Current Account holders can access their accounts using their debit cards. Card-related service are available through MEB ATMs and other SHETAB bank ATMs, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking Telephone, POS or IPG.
Terms of debit card for legal persons:
- Only one debit card is issued for each corporate account
- Debit card issuance is only available for signatories
- Issuance of debit card for legal customers shall be subject to legal representation for issuance of debit card for one of signatories and his right to withdraw alone and signatories’ approval. Also, a valid letter of introduction containing approval of the board of director and introduction of valid signatory is required.
Debit card services
- Cash withdrawal up to 5,000,000 Rials from all SHETAB ATMs
- Card to card transaction up to 150,000,000 Rials
- Card to IBAN (sheba) transaction
- Define mobile no linked to account
- Define secondary linked account by visiting branch
- Purchase through POS terminals or IPGs
Gift card
Gift card is issued with a specific amount for Middle East Bank customers and card holders may utilize it for shopping or bill payment.
It is also possible to issue batch gift cards.
Card holders may receive PIN-2 by visiting Middle East Bank ATMs. So that they can do online shopping using their gift cards.
Gift card services
- Cash withdrawal or card to card transaction is not available for gift cards
- Gift card cannot be recharged
- Request for reprinting a damaged or lost gift card is possible

Bon card
Bon card is a card that employers, may request it for their employees, or whomever they want. Legal customers may apply and fill the requires form at MEB branches for Bon Card to be issued with a specific amount. Shopping and paying bills are feasible using Bon Card. Bon card owners may do shopping through POS or IPGs or pay bills using Bon card.
Application form should be completed by authorized legal representative or authorized signatories.
Cash withdrawal or card to card transaction is not available for Bon card owners.
Bulk issuance of Boncards is available.
You may do following actions on bon cards:
- Temporary/permanent block
- Unblock card
- Re-issue Bon card
- Issue a new PIN
- Recharge bon card
It is possible to apply for reissuance of Bon card in case of missing, damaged or expired banknotes by the applicant only at the issuing branch. In case of any problem such as loss or theft of the bank card, it is possible to block the card by observing the terms and conditions and one of the methods of face-to-face or contact with branches or customer contact center (ASHENA 021-42557) for the applicant.
Virtual Card
Virtual card is a 16 digits card number without physics. This card number can only be used to transfer money to the linked account.
- Expiration date of virtual card is 5 years.
- Virtual card cannot have CVV2 or PIN. Therefore, withdraw or card transfer using this card is not possible.
You may receive bills and statement via Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Telephone Banking or visiting a branch of us.
Credit Card
Credit card is issued for individual customers to benefit from their specified credit amount, up to 2 billion Rials, for shopping and other services.
Terms of using a credit card
- Purchase period lasts until the end of each month
- Grace period starts from the end of purchase period and lasts until 7 days
- Unpaid bills should be paid as facility (12 installments) with interest rate of 18%
Credit Card Candidates
- Corporate managers who have active credit lines in Middle East Bank
- Customers who have accounts in Middle East Bank
- Individuals who have reasonable revenue
You may access your bills and repay them via your Internet Banking or Mobile Banking account or by visiting a branch of Middle East Bank.
Petty Cash Card
The Petty Cash Card refers to a group of debit cards issued by Middle East Bank at the request of corporate customers and individual business owners, primarily for minor or day‑to‑day expense payments. These cards are managed directly by the customer and are assigned to petty cash custodians, with the capability to be loaded and unloaded (charged and discharged) as needed.
For corporate customers, the issuance of Petty Cash Cards is limited to two customer accounts, with a maximum of five cards issued per account.
Petty Cash Card Services
- Purchase of goods and payment for services
- Bill payments
- Balance inquiry via Middle East Bank ATMs, branch terminals, POS terminals, and Internet Banking
- Cash withdrawal from ATMs
- Petty cash custodians who are registered as customers can view their Petty Cash Cards in the Middle East Bank Mobile Banking application
- Petty Cash Cards can be charged or discharged through Middle East Bank branches and Internet Banking
Notes
- In case of losing your card, please inform the nearest MEB branch immediately or contact to ASHNA (Customer Relations Center): (+9821) 42557
- You may block your debit or virtual card through Internet Banking or Mobile Banking in any time without need to visit a branch.
- If you enter your PIN wrongly 3 times in a row, your card will be blocked.
- If you have forgotten your PIN, having your ID card, you may visit a branch to reset the PINs.
