"Corporate social responsibility" is a key concept in business ethics and relates to the role that corporations play in society. Leading organizations, as accountable entities, adopt highly ethical methods for transparency and accountability to their stakeholders concerning their performance. These organizations are particularly sensitive and attentive to social accountability and sustaining environmental integrity now and in the future, promoting this perspective. Social responsibility is expressed in the values of these organizations. Through open exchanges with stakeholders, they understand and comply with local and global expectations and regulations, going beyond mere compliance.
