Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic parliament Speaker said on Tuesday that the autonomous republic needs trade ties with Iran for entery into the world markets.
Vasef Talibov made the remarks in a meeting with East Azarbaijan province governor general Esmail Jabbarzadeh.
Talibov said that currently bilateral cooperation is in a good level, calling for strengthening ties.
He said that Nakhichevan autonomous republic expects private sector of Azarbaijan province to provide facilities including custom services, welfare and easy transport.
In his one-day visit to Tabriz, Talibov is to meet with East Azarbaijan businessmen and academics and is to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
The governor general said that government underlines development of relations with neighboring countries and in case of promoting ties with Nakhichevan autonomous Republic had taken effective steps.
Jabbarzadeh said that since the 11th government took office, the president personally had underlined to develop relations with Azerbaijan Republic and Nakhichevan autonomous Republic.
He called for development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of medical treatment, tourism, agriculture.
