Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said on Tuesday that Iran is ready to make joint investments in the fields of automaking, cement, electronics, clothing and textile industries.
Nematzadeh made the remarks on a meeting with Tunisian deputy foreign minister for Arab-African affairs Toulhami Abdouli.
He said that election of Irans commercial attaché in the country is an effective step with the aim to enhance level of economic and commercial ties.
The two countries entrepreneurs have little familiarity with each other. Therefore, they are necessary to exchange views in the form of committees before expansion of ties between the two governments, Nematzadeh said.
For his part, Touhan said that Tehran-Tunis political ties are excellent and the level of bilateral economic cooperation should keep up with the political ties.
He called for joint venture investment with Iran for export of products to neighboring states.
He said that the two countries can also develop cooperation on tourism.
