Head of Irans Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture Mohsen Jalalpour said that Hong Kong has a high capacity in the field of transporting goods and may be a connecting bridge for transporting goods between Iran and China.
He made the remarks here on Monday in a meeting with Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce Director for Asia-Africa Committee Andrew Wales.
Jalalpour said that provision of required facilitations for four main axes of businessmen visits, goods transport, transferring money and banking, insurance affairs, transferring services between the two countries are among policies of the chambers for interaction with other side.
He added that capacities and capabilities of countries in these four axes determine the limits in holding ties with other states, but in all four axes there is possibility to create consolidated and sustainable ties with Hong Kong.
He added that Hong Kong stock exchange and financial market in the region of Asia as well as Irans need to investment could be a field to use Hong Kongs capacity.
Wales said that chamber of commerce of the two countries can play an important role in expansion of economic cooperation.
He said that Iran could be a partner with high capabilities and capacities for a joint work in future and added that Hong Kong is a gateway to enter East Asia market.
Wales also said that trade the delegation of Hong Kong is here to prepare the ground for expansion and progress of economic cooperation between the two countries.
