Iranian and Austrian companies from private sector signed a Memorandum of Understanding worth over two billion dollars in Austrian Chamber of Commerce for bilateral cooperation, it was reported on Thursday.
The MoU included eight documents in the fields of automobile, steel, medicine and engineering services.
The documents were signed in the presence of Irans Head of Chamber of Commerce Mohsen Jalalpour and Head of Austria Federal Chamber of Commerce Christophe Leitl.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Jalalpour said that Austria did not support sanctions during Iraq imposed war (1980-1988) on Iran.
He added that Austria political status and its relations with Iran could be promoted to billion-euro contracts.
The official also voiced Tehrans willingness to increase cooperation with Vienna.
