Head of Middle East Sector of Czech Republic Chamber of Commerce Ilja Mazánek said on Monday that this countrys companies are interested at investment in Iran projects.
Speaking in a meeting with local miners in the northeastern province of South Khorasan, he noted that Czech Republic companies are active in fields of water, transit and energy of Iran and they are keen to cooperate in Iran investment projects including mines.
Czech Republic economic activists and companies are interested in expansion of cooperation with Iran, Mazánek added.
An economic delegation from Czech Republic arrived in this northeastern Iranian province on Monday.
The delegation is led by Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs at the Office of the Government of Czech Republic Martin Tlapa.
The Czech delegation will stay here for three days to get familiar with economic and trade capacities of the province.
The members of the Czech delegation will also hold economic meetings with provincial officials.
South Khorasan enjoys good capacities in the area of mine. It holds 75 percent of coal resources of the country.
The Czech delegation was in Tehran on Sunday and held talks with members of Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
During the talks, the two sides agreed to allocate 50 million euros to build a 50-MW power plant.
