Austria willing to develop parliamentary relations with Iran
The Speaker of the National Council of Austria, Wolfgang Sobotka in a message stressed that his country is willing to boost parliamentary relations with Iran.
In his message, Wolfgang Sobotka congratulated Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on his election as Iranian Parliament Speaker.
“Parliaments are the beating hearts of democracy and international interaction between the parliaments can play a key role in building trust and de-escalating tensions,” Wolfgang Sobotka said.
He expressed hope that the friendly parliamentary relations between Iran and Austria expand during Ghalibaf’s tenure.
