A senior provinical official said a visiting Italian trade and commercial delegation arrived in Alborz province on Monday to become closely familiar with provincial economic potentials. This is the second Italian delegation that visits the Iranian industrial province in the past three months.
Head of Alborz Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture Rahim Bana Molaie said that another Italian delegation had visited Alborz province, in northwest Tehran, in December 2015.
Molaie added that the present Italian delegation is visiting the province to learn more about its industrial and economic potentials and find ways to boost bilateral cooperation.
Molaie said the present delegation included officials and experts from Italian companies working in pharmaceutical fields, construction industry, electricity storage, auto parts and electronic systems.
He noted that specialized meetings are to be held by Iranian and Italian merchants and businessmen to discuss strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
Molaei said that the Italian delegation is supposed to visit the governor and economic directors of Alborz province.
Alborz province is regarded as one of the Iranian industrial hubs with around 3,500 manufacturing and Industrial units.
