23bcm increase in Iran gas production (25 May 2016)
Managing director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) announced that over 23 billion cubic meters of gas have been added to countrys gas production.
Hamid Reza Araqi, who is also deputy petroleum minister, made the remarks here Wednesday.
After the sixth and ninth refineries of South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC) became operational in the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 19), the country could see the increase in its gas production, Araqi said.
The sixth and ninth refineries include South Pars phases 12, 15 and 16.
