Iran exports handmade carpets to U.S. worth $9.4 million (08 May 2016)
Head of Handmade Carpet Office of Fars Industry, Mine and Trade Organization said that $9,400,000 of handmade carpets were exported to U.S. markets.
Majid Abbasi told IRNA on Saturday that lifting imposed sanctions on Iran paved the way for carpet exports which was one of the main topics discussed with p5+1.
Due to high quality and fame of Iranian carpet in U.S. market, Iran National Carpet Center is to hold an exhibition in the United States to introduce Iranian carpet.
He added that Foreign reporters in Iran will be touring Fars in the first half of current Iranian year to see and reflect the provinces potentials in the field.
