Iran-Poland sign economic cooperation pact (26 September 2015)


In the signing ceremony, Tayyebnia said that Irans foreign policy has always been based on consolidation of peace and establishment of security and tranquility in the region and world, and added that establishment of economic ties and development of cooperation with friendly country of Poland can prepare ground for expansion of economic cooperation in international level.



He added that the signed agreement is a road map for bilateral economic cooperation, which prepares ground for reviving economic ties.



Tayyebnia told his Polish counterpart that I hope your Excellencys visit to Iran becomes a turning point for expansion of bilateral ties.



Referring to figure of 40 million dollars of economic exchange level volume between the two countries, Tayyebnia said that this volume is not suitable with economic capacities between Iran and Poland.



He added that we can establish working groups for cooperation in the fields of banking, trade, oil and custom house ties.



The Polish Economic Minister said that we intend to develop and expand political relations in the direction of economic ties, too.



Janusz Piechocinski said that establishment of flights between Tehran and Warsaw as well as to settle the accounts between Iranian and Polish banks are among programs to be done in a near future.



He said that cooperation in the fields of oil, gas, transportation and agriculture are among other interested fields for cooperation with Iran.
