Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) said Friday that Tehran and Berlin have stressed the need to normalize banking cooperation before upcoming action to remove anti-Iran sanctions.
Valiollah Seif made the remarks on the sidelines of the Frankfurt European Banking Congress (EBC) here on November 20.
Referring to his talks with German Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schauble, Seif told IRNA that the talks focused on resumption of banking and financial relations.
Further he said he held meetings with several banking officials attending the Congress.
According to the Frankfurt EBC website, the Frankfurt European Banking Congress (EBC) is one of Europes most prestigious congresses in the field of banking.
