Deputy Minister- Iran, Iraq to sign trade MoU soon (30 June 2016)

Iraqi Deputy Trade Minister Walid Habib al-Helou announced that Tehran and Baghdad will sign a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the near future.


Al-Helou called for the expansion of trade relations between Iran and Iraq, and said that the two countries should try to boost the level of their trade relations near the level of political and military relations of the two countries. 


He underlined that Iran and Iraq will remove the problems hindering their economic relations within the MoUs framework.


The Iraqi deputy trade minister expressed the hope that all problems hindering the two countries economic relations will be removed soon because the two countries relations lie in the expansion of trade ties.
