Ways of developing cooperation and ties between Iran and Shenzhen Free Trade Zone in China were discussed in a meeting between Iranian and Chinese officials.
Irans consul general in Gwangju Alireza Salarian held a meeting with Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen on Friday.
Both sides emphasized boosting ties in different fields such as transportation, port, cooperation between the two countries free trade zones and exchanging delegations in various fields.
Salarian also had a meeting with Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in which they expressed their readiness to hold economic seminars next month in the presence of the members of the council, Chinese companies and Iranian residents.
Other issues discussed between the two sides consisted of developing cooperation between two countries chambers of commerce, industry and mine.
According to the reports, Iran-Shenzhen trade ties volume was about $1.3b in 2015.
