The 13th joint commission meeting between Iran and Belarus started work in the Belarusian capital on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by Irans Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Belarusian Minister of Industry Vitaly Vovk.
Vovk, in the meeting, described July 14 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive plan of Action (JCPOA) as an important factor in fostering Minsk-Tehran ties.
He said his country makes effort to grasp the created opportunity for expansion of relations in all areas, economic fields in particular.
For his part, Irans Nematzadeh said the two should improve the current level of bilateral cooperation.
At the end of the two-day commission meeting, Iran and Belarus are to agree on a road map for development of cooperation by the year of 2017.
Heading a 50-member delegation, Irans Nematzadeh arrived in Minsk today to hold talks with the Belarusian officials on bilateral issues.
