Middle East Bank offers Internet Banking service for dear customers to facilitate banking operations.

Management of accounts and conducting the bulk of banking operations are now achievable with only a few clicks. Internet banking offers distinctive opportunities and spares time for increased focus on better management of your accounts.

Account Services

Summary of Accounts
  • Summary of all active individual and or joint accounts with their details such as account type, account no, currency, available balance, freeze amount, IBAN (Sheba) no, branch name in which the account has been opened and account status is provided here. Also, a summary of loan, gaurantee and Letter of accounts is displayed as well.
Monitoring the Accounts
  • Individuals can monitor their accounts, view or download account statements in up to one-year intervals.
Point of Sale (POS) Report
  • Individuals posessing Point of Sale (POS) terminals may view and download reports of POS transaction reocords.
Fund Transfer Report
  • Access reports, separately, on bill payment, loan repayments, card-to-card fund transfer and other types of transactions.

Fund Transfer Services

Internal Fund Transfer
  • Transfer money between customer’s own account(s) or others in the Middle East Bank
  • Attachment of document (photos or PDF files) by personal accountant is feasible
ACH/RTGS (interbank)
  • This service could be used to transfer money to other banks using IBAN (Sheba) No
  • Recipient’s IBAN inquiry at the moment is feasible
  • Attachment of document (photos or PDF files) by personal accountant is feasible
Batch Transaction
  • Make internal or PAYA fund transfers to multiple recipients simultaneously by adding several accounts as recipients or uploading a batch transfer file
  • view and print receipts for batch payment records, separately or collectively
Card to Card/IBAN(Sheba) Money Transfer
  • Transfer money from the MEB cards to any other card issued by any financial institution which is a member of “Shetab” (Interbank Information Transfer Network (IIN))
  • Transfer money from card to others accounts through IBAN (Sheba) No is feasible
Scheduled Transactions
  • This service can be used to schedule future transactions on specific dates or daily and monthly intervals
  • The standing orders can be viewed and/or canceled

Bill Payment Services

  • Pay all utility bills such as water, electricity, gas and telephone as well as traffic tickets and other municipal bills.

Check Services

  • view all checks deposited to your accounts.
  • view the status and details of your Middle East Bank checkbooks (cashed, unused, etc.)
  • Add details such as amount, date and recipient to your Middle East Bank checks
  • Sayad services: all services required to issue, receive, transfer and inquire the status of new checks in Accordance with the new Check Issuance Law and CBI regulations.

  • View or download reports of all installment facilities, including details as well as payment and repayment statements
  • View or download reports of all facilities in detail, including payment and repayment statements of non-instalment facilities, debt purchase and facilities related to guarantees
  • View or download reports of guarantees and details of guarantees issued in IRR, including related details and issuance, amendment and cancellation statements
  • View the list and details of frozen accounts
  • Request official signed and stamped credit reports from middle east bank branches
International Report
  • View or download reports of guarantees issued in foreign currencies

Services to Joint Acccount Holders
  • All aforementioned Internet Banking services are also available for users of joint accounts.
  • Transfer of funds for joint account holders is made in compliance with the withdrawal terms and conditions, as stipulated in the Account Opening Application Form.
Personal Financial Manager / Accountant
  • Indivial customeres can request internet banking access for their personal financial managers or accountants, this type of users can have permission to initiate transactions via Middle East Bank Internet Banking and these transactions will be carried out only with account holders’ approval.
  • Personal Financial Managers’ access on accounts is customized based on the account holders request and they can receive their own username and a password by visiting one branch of us.
  • Personal accountant(s)/Financial Manager(s) users can add attachments to transactions, such as photos and PDF documents

Login Password

  • A unique username and password is given to each individaul user of Internet Banking request via Distance Banking or at a Middle East Bank branch.
  • Users will have to change their password after their first login.
  • After receiving the password, users will have seven days to log in and activate their account.
  • If a wrong password is entered five times (in a row), the user’s account will be blocked. They will need to visit a Branch to reactivate their account.
  • Users can request 2FA (Two Factor authentication) login via SMS or MEB OTP mobile app.
  • In case you have forgotten your password please visit a branch.

Transaction Password

  • Transaction password is required to approve a transaction or change a setting in Internet Banking.
  • You can set your transaction password the first time you log in to Internet Banking via settings menu.
  • Transaction password at Internet Banking and Mobile Bank is the same. Therefore, changing transacation password in one would affect the other.

One-Time Transaction Password

  • One-time (dynamic) password, which can replace the static password, is a security mechanism, designed to reduce risk of fraud and misuse of passwords.
  • One-time password, for transactions exceeding the default amount limit for internet banking (500,000,000 IRR for companies and legal entities) is required.
  • Customers can request using Dynamic passwords for all internet banking transactions.
  • One-time password is generated by MEB OTP mobile app or via SMS.
  • In order to activate dynamic passwords please visit a branch.

Second Password (Static or Dynamic)

  • MEB internet banking conducts card-to-card transfers using the second password.
  • Dynamic card second password for card transactions over 1,000,000 Rial daily limit is mandatory.
  • You can activate MEB OTP mobile app or SMS to receive card’s dynamic second password.
